The seminar, given by Lincoln-based law-firm Langleys, provided 10 members of the team with updated information about the ever-changing laws affecting businesses in the current economic climate.
Langleys, which has acted for the University for six years provides in-house seminars to many organisations covering a range of issues.
Helen Arnold, HR Business Advisor, from the University of Lincoln said: “As the higher education sector changes we want to have a clear understanding of the legal issues which have such a large impact on how the university is run. Langleys’ seminars and their additional advice is an excellent help and we’re delighted they can provide this.”
Danielle Lister, an employment solicitor at Langleys, said: “Many sectors are undergoing turbulent times and public bodies are no exception. We aim to arm organisations, like the University of Lincoln, with the information and tools they need to manage their way through the legal minefield.”
