Litigation Assure
Litigation Assure is a bespoke litigation funding package which has been created to greatly reduce, or in some cases eliminate, the burden of funding litigation.
As a claimant you usually have to fund your own litigation costs as well as accepting the risk of paying your opponent if your claim fails. Many claimants with strong claims simply can’t afford to take that kind of risk – especially in the current economic climate.
The aim of Litigation Assure is to enable you to pursue your claim in the knowledge that there will be no cost (or greatly reduced costs) to you. This is achieved by combining conditional fee funding (sometimes referred to as “no win, no fee”) for your own legal fees with After the Event insurance cover to pay the defendant's legal costs should the claim fail. Furthermore, the insurance premium is free to you as it is only payable if the claim succeeds - in which case it is recoverable from the defendant in any event.
