York-based law firm Langleys hosted the event, with the generous support of David Humphries of the North Bay Railway and Glass House Bistro, which raised money for St Catherine’s Hospice.
Nearly 40 tickets were sold for the fundraiser which treated guests to a ride on Britain’s longest miniature railway to the end of the line at Scalby Mills and return.
The evening was concluded with dinner at the Glass House Bistro.
Roger Taylor, partner at Langleys, said: “It is fantastic to see so many people coming out to support such an important part of the local community in Scarborough. St Catherine’s Hospice provides excellent care for those in need and with the North Bay Railway and Glass House Bistro, we’re delighted to support the charity and help it to continue its excellent work.”
