Langleys’ Equine Team Celebrates Continued Success

The Equine Law Group at Langleys is celebrating a successful start to 2011 following the completion of a series of equestrian deals.
 
Langleys advised York Racecourse on several projects and has also assisted International Racecourse Management Limited (IRM) with some key developments.
 
William Derby, Chief Executive and Clerk of the Course at York said: “Langleys has once again been instrumental in helping us complete a number of major projects and we continue to be delighted with the level of service we receive from their specialist commercial equine unit.”
 
International Racecourse Management Limited supplies contract management services and consultancy to racecourses and is currently responsible for four Yorkshire racecourses and two in the Middle East. John Sanderson, GroupChief Executive of International Racecourse Management Limited, said: “Langleys’ in depth knowledge of equine related commercial law has helped IRM successfully complete a number of projects relating to our client racecourses.”
 
Langleys’ Equine Law Group flourished in 2010 acting on numerous high profile equine disputes as well as for several well known equine businesses and racecourses in the UK on commercial matters.
 
Langleys also celebrated success with lawyer Serena Brotherton becoming the 2010 British All Weather Amateur Racing Champion.
