Langleys business development Partner Roger Taylor welcomed a group of Scarborough and the region's business leaders to the Woodend Creative Centre for a presentation on current bank attitudes to business lending given by Stephen Baylis, head of banking and finance law at Langleys followed by Marilyn Watson, the Deputy Agent of the Bank of England for the Yorkshire and Humber Region, who gave an insightful talk on the current UK and regional economy as it may affect the Scarborough region.
Roger Taylor said " we were very pleased to be able to welcome some of Scarborough's top business people to Woodend, in particular to bring Marilyn back to her home town for such an event" Andrew Clay, the Director of Woodend, said he was delighted to be asked by Langleys to host the event and to welcome new friends to Woodend.
