Leading law firm Langleys has organised the event with the firm’s head of Real Estate, Tim Cross, providing an insight into overcoming barriers to commercial property development in the current market with a particular focus on how public applications for village greens status can cause a loss in value of a development site.
He said: “The commercial property market is an ever changing one. Laws and regulations are constantly being updated and today’s economic climate means that it can be a very difficult area to operate in.
“We’re aiming to help a range of businesses, from those looking to enter the market for the first time to the more experienced property investors and developers, to understand how to work within the current framework.”
Also speaking at the event will be Adrian Arnold, Director of Risk Solutions at Barclays. Adrian will provide an economic update while Mark Pepper, Director of Grosvenor Financial Consultants, will discuss alternative funding solutions.
The seminar is free to attend and runs from 8.30am to 10.30am at the Food and Environment Research Agency in Sand Hutton, York on Thursday 24 March 2011. For more information and to book your place please
