Work Placement Scheme
We offer a number of work placements once a year during the summer, which usually last for 3 days. These are usually based in either the York office or our Lincoln office. The placement generally consists of three days in the same department, where you will shadow, observe colleagues and basically get involved in current projects/tasks. It is a great opportunity for you to meet people who work here already, get an insight into what goes on and confirm if a career in law and working at Langleys is really for you. Preference is given to those individuals who also apply for a training contract.
Applications must be completed by the end of February for a placement that takes place that summer. Those applying or accepted on the work placement scheme should apply for a training contract to start approximately two years later than the work placement i.e. those who apply for a work placement in 2010 should apply for a training contract to commence in 2012.
