Trainee Solicitors for 2012, York & Lincoln

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with a strong academic background, commercial awareness and determination to succeed. Both law and non-law applicants are welcome.

Langleys tries to give all trainees a well-rounded experience. Trainees generally complete four six-month seats. We aim to provide exposure to a broad range of work and clients to enable trainees to qualify with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their careers. Support and supervision is given throughout to enable trainees to take on as much responsibly as they can handle. We actively work towards retaining our trainees on qualification.

Legal Support

Floating Legal Secretary

We are presently looking to recruit a Floating Legal Secretary to work at our Lincoln office.

The role involves providing full secretarial support to the various units across the firm. This is a challenging role which offers both variety and an excellent opportunity to get to know the different areas of work we undertake.

You should have a minimum of 3 years previous legal secretarial experience, audio typing speeds of at least 50 wpm and be confident using Microsoft Office. A working knowledge of a case management system is also desirable. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills and be confident speaking to clients.
