Community
Langleys is actively committed to being involved and engaged in the communities where we are situated.
2010 was York’s year of volunteering. The case has been made for volunteering and the invaluable benefits it brings for individuals, organisations, and communities.
We are associated with a local charity, York Cares. We have been involved in their Kid’s College initiative where members of our firm have visited local Primary Schools to spend an afternoon explaining what we do and encouraging children to start thinking about future career paths.
We are also working with York Cares to develop a Law and Justice Module for disadvantaged children in partnership with the Police and a local primary school.
Staff at the Lincoln office have recently been involved with a local school’s English and Maths Intervention Evening. This was a success judging from the feedback received
“
I wanted to say a huge thank you for taking part in the English and Maths intervention evening last night. Your input was tremendous and the teachers present said you were incredibly inspiring.”
